Richmond International Raceway has one of the most storied histories in all of racing. NASCAR was founded in 1948 but racing at the facility started October 12, 1946 when Ted Horn drove an open wheel Champ Car to victory over a ½ mile dirt circuit.

Today, Richmond International Raceway is one of the most popular stops for all of the series that visit. The track’s configuration coupled with night time racing makes Richmond International Raceway one of the best places to race and to see a race.

    Race Tickets

    Our Busch Series tickets are reserved seating on the front stretch or new Veranda at the end of the front stretch. Tickets for the NEXTEL Cup could be located in the Commonwealth Grandstand, Section E, situated directly across from the pits or in the new Veranda Grandstand located at the end of the front stretch in rows 22-26 overlooking the entire track.

    We also offer seats in the Non-Alcoholic Section in the Dogwood Grandstand.
