Spotter for Team Dewalt and the 2003 Winston Cup Champion Matt Kenseth!
Mike Calinoff is basically a competition junkie. A twenty-five year veteran in the sport, Mike has been involved in most aspects of racing and was recently featured on NBC's pre-race show with Benny Parsons as well as Totally NASCAR.
Aside from his consulting work, team management skills and professional speaking, Mike works weekends for Matt Kenseth in the Nextel Cup and Busch Series as the Team Spotter.
Over the years, and in particular the past four with Kenseth, Mike has gained a great education and appreciation for team work and winning attitudes. This year, the DeWALT team worked their magic to capture the 2003 NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship.
To date, Mike has visited Victory Lane 59 times in five different series with drivers Kenseth (NWC & NBS), Jimmy Spencer (CTS), Jason Leffler (CTS), Bobby Gerhart (ARCA), Chase Montgomery (ARCA), Rick Fuller (Modified), Reggie Ruggiero (Modified) and Tom Baldwin (Modified).
Mike's primary background is in marketing, public relations, broadcasting and management. He and his Fiancé Jenn also scout young driver talent and help cultivate their careers.
